Fundraising Update 2/11/11
First, a HUGE thank you to those who have donated toward Princess Lila's surgery and care, it is appreciated more than you can know!
We've had a few donations come in via other ways than the ChipIn Page, so we wanted give everyone a total update as of today (2/11/11). As of today, $255.00 has been donated toward Princess Lila's surgery and care.
Please continue to spread the word. We are hoping to have Princess Lila's surgery costs covered before the demands of kitten season start so we can rescue more kitties.

Princess Lila
My name is Princess Lila and I am a beautiful 5 1/2 year old Tortie Point girl.
I am a beautiful girl with a loving purrsonality. I am great with everyone young and old alike. I came from a home where several of the other kitties chased me and were mean to me, so I hid under the bed most of the time. I like it here in the rescue because I currently have my own room where Im safe. Lots of people come in to play with me and I have convinced them that I am the most loving kitty definitely a lap cat! I will also follow you around, and I come to my name. I would be OK with other laid back and friendly kitties, but please dont consider me if you have an Alpha kitty. I dont want to have to hide anymore!
October 2010
It has been determined that I have two auto immune diseases; Plasma Cell Pododermatitis (Pillow Foot) and Stomatitis. The vet has recommended that I have my teeth removed. The rescue is currently working to get my surgery scheduled.
December 2010
I had my surgery on 12/28 and I am doing well. I go back to the vet for a post-surgery check up in mid-January. The rescue is seeking donations to assist with the cost of my surgery and care. The cost of my surgery was just shy of $2,800.
